Enjoying A Lazy Sunday With Miss Rooh

Although I currently get two days off of my phone job a week now, I have to say my favorite day is Sunday.  I usually try to, on the occassion I can get myself out of the house, get all our running done around town and grocery shopping done on Wednesdays.  That leaves Sundays as a lazy day to be enjoyed with my baby girl.

This past Sunday I had intended to write a little, for my other small jobs I had acquired in an attempt to make ends meet.  But, to my dismay I suffered from staring at a blank page all day...aka writers block.  The more I thought about my upcoming deadlines for the articles, the worse it got.  So, I made the decision to just step away, for the whole day, and maybe start fresh the next day.

This meant I had an entire day to be lazy with Miss Rooh.  Which is exactly what both of us did...we were lazy.  We had a late brunch, that was absolutely delicious.  Miss Rooh had a small amount of bacon, some eggs, and a few nibbles of fried potatoes.  She really seemed to enjoy them.

After that we both just lounged around, dozing here and there, and just enjoying the quiet.  Although my mind would not stop worrying about my upcoming deadlines, I still found a few moments to just relax and rest.

As fate would have it, when I was getting ready for bed last night, I had an idea of how to start one of my articles.  So, I got my laptop out and jotted down the first few lines.  Before I knew it, the article had written itself, and was turned in.  I was so happy that I had gotten it done.  I then only had the other two to worry about getting done today.

In the end, it all worked out.  I got the chance to enjoy my lazy day with baby girl, and still was able to more than meet the deadline on one of my articles.  A pretty good Sunday all around in my opinion.
